Shiki Koshiyama, a new enrollee at Buzou High School, is a bookworm and quite the introverted type. He even eats lunch in the school library. But at the ceremony to welcome new students, he found himself volunteered to participate in an impromptu quiz meet by the quiz bowl circle's leader, Gakuto Sasajima. Shiki knows the answers to all the questions, but it unable to buzz in quickly enough... until he notices a change in his classmate, Mari Fukami, who starts buzzing in to answer questions before they've even been read!
