The fifth season of the series continues the conflict between the Mohists and their allies against the Qin Empire, with Crown Prince Fusu playing a key role. A new Taoist school leader, Xiaomeng, joins the Qin's side. The Peasant School becomes central as leaders of the six Halls compete for dominance and the right to succeed Xia Kui. General Zhang Han and the Shadow Division emerge as new forces. Wei Zhuang and the Quicksand Group form a tense alliance with the Mohists, seeking support from the Peasant School. Meanwhile, Tianming, Shaoyu, and Shi Lan continue searching for Yue-er aboard the ship, Mirage.
