Tibet Inu Monogatari: Kiniro no Douji

After his mother's death, Tianjing is uprooted from the city and sent to live with his father in a remote Tibetan community where he takes on the solitary role of a shepherd. The job is perilous, with threats from wolves and wild dogs. He soon finds an unexpected ally in a stray golden mastiff that helps protect his flock. When a new danger emerges, the boy and his dog must rely on each other to face both natural and human threats.
