Marin Reigan's father and home were lost when Gattler seized power, driving their people from their dying planet and toward an invasion of another. Driven by a desire for revenge, Marin pursued them. However, upon seeing the pristine world they intended to conquer, Marin shifted his goal to defending Earth's untouched environment. The conflict proved difficult, as Marin's technology was the sole defense against Gattler's forces. Earth's inhabitants were hesitant to trust him, and the enemy commander Aphrodia sought her own retribution. Marin struggled to earn Earth's trust, settle his personal vendetta, and prevent the war. The series was initially planned for 39 episodes but was cut short. The final aired episode was actually the 32nd, with three completed but unaired episodes later released on home media.
