Sigurd is a Hero from the Völsunga Saga and he's considered the Greatest Hero of Northern Europe. He is the Scandinavian counterpart of the German Hero [Siegfried](https://anilist.co/character/35609/Siegfried) since both their stories share elements and are based on the same myths.
