Anekawa Takatoki is an otaku with an attractive appearance who dreams of experiencing a romantic relationship similar to those in anime. His childhood friend, Iva Chiaki, often finds his behavior unimpressive. One day, he encounters Asazuma Yotsugi, a girl with a bandaged face who expresses a similar desire for anime-like love. She begins creating and wearing handmade cosplay outfits, leading to an unexpected development in their interactions.
