Blue Friend

A second-year middle school student named Ayumu Kurihara is placed in a new class and sits next to Misuzu Tsukishima, a girl who finds boys distasteful and struggles to form close relationships. Misuzu is affected by Ayumu's sincere and kind nature, slowly allowing her to become more open. Ayumu, in turn, is drawn to Misuzu's fragile and unusual demeanor, and the two grow closer over time.
