A significant portion of the population now possesses superpowers, a phenomenon referred to as Girls' Witch Syndrome. These abilities are attributed to an entity known as the Mother Witch. Ayumu Takenami holds the rank of Brave Star as a top member of CARD, an organization composed of children and girls with such powers. Following an incident where he defeats armed kidnappers by hand in the Middle East, he returns to Japan to visit someone he is interested in. Yuki Saimiya is a 17-year-old high school student with minor powers who admires the legend of Brave Star and aspires to be more like him.
