Hachimitsu darling

Chihiro lives without direction, moving from one relationship to the next, until he discovers a stray kitten named Shiro in a box. He becomes deeply attached to her and cannot envision life without her. When Shiro falls ill, Chihiro searches for help and meets Kumazawa, a local veterinarian who takes the kitten in. Impressed by Kumazawa’s work, Chihiro asks to be hired at the clinic to learn about life’s value. Kumazawa agrees, but only if Chihiro works as his live-in housekeeper. Whether this arrangement will help Chihiro find meaning or prove too challenging remains to be seen.
