Hoshi to Harinezumi

Ikumi Chiba returns home for the summer from university in Tokyo. While there, he meets Harukiyo, one of the gardeners working in his family’s yard. Harukiyo initially appears tough and self-assured, but Ikumi soon notices a more reserved and quiet side. It remains unclear whether Harukiyo is naturally shy or if his behavior stems from a dislike of Ikumi. Some say 20% of people are simply not meant to get along. Could Ikumi be part of that group? Or is there another explanation for Harukiyo’s attitude?
