Saga Shigekata is surprised to find himself at a new school called Ikebukuro Krea Academy, which focuses on training aspiring manga artists. His parents sent him there after discovering his drawings. The school is known for attracting otaku students interested in creating their own manga. There, he meets Miyakawa Hinari, a first-year classmate who wears a cosplay outfit and is also the academy's president and founder. Shigekata begins forming friendships that encourage him to create art with renewed enthusiasm.
