Shimako Okazaki works in a fashion company and expects her boyfriend to propose to her on Christmas Eve, planning to resign afterward. Instead, he breaks up with her over the phone before their scheduled date. While she tries to process the rejection, her younger sister, Minori, unexpectedly arrives after an 18-year absence. Minori is the opposite of Shimako—unconventional, spontaneous, and sexually active. She asks to stay with Shimako temporarily.
