Sakura Shinji, a high school student struggling to keep up, is approached by his classmate Yuki Hanamori with a part-time job offer. He agrees to work as a Soul Reaper, earning 300-yen per hour. His first assignment involves talking to his childhood friend Asatsuki about her problems.
