A human prince with no real ambition makes a pact with a powerful Demon King, only to die immediately after. The Demon King is then bound by the agreement to assume the prince's identity. However, he must carry out the prince's final requests or risk being trapped in this form permanently. Alongside other demons, he begins training, engages in conflict with Angels, and works to accomplish his objectives before time runs out.
