Fifteen years ago, magic and mythical beings from another dimension were discovered. Humanity learned to summon these beings and use their power. Seven nations formed alliances with them, and the beings select summoners on their 14th birthday by marking them with a stigma. Schools now train summoners and magical swordsman, who act as bodyguards. Kazuki Hayashizaki is marked as a summoner, which is rare because males typically have less mana and are not selected. As the first male summoner, he faces widespread scrutiny. His sister, a magical swordsman, opposes his enrollment in summoner school, due to the rivalry between the two roles. She is willing to go to war to stop him. Kazuki is determined to succeed despite being ranked E, the lowest, and despite his classmates’ hostility. He aims to prove himself as the strongest summoner.
