Midori no Ou: Verdant Lord

In a near-future world, nature begins to retaliate against human expansion, with plants overtaking urban areas and colossal wooden creatures known as Arethusa attacking. These beings, inspired by a figure from Greek mythology associated with gardens, move through cities, causing destruction. The narrative centers on Souma Shin, a punk youth from Japan, who arrives to visit what may be his twin brother, Ken. During his visit, a massive Arethusa invades the location, creating chaos. Amid the turmoil, Shin witnesses a group of children being used for military functions and attempts to rescue them.
