A man who dislikes work is abandoned by his wife and soon hosts the god of poverty. Inspired by a Rakugo story, a man with an excessively long name, granted a correspondingly long life, grows weary and forms a friendship with a Shinigami he previously encountered. Souta, a young boy living with his father and stepmother, begins to contemplate his family situation after a school sex education class. Additional stories expand on the themes introduced.
