A high school story follows four girls navigating daily life together. Kurumi is an android who is not very intelligent. Chiaki is her guardian, known for being somewhat eccentric. Sakina is typically calm, collected, and finds amusement easily. Shiyuki is the only one who seems (or claims to be) sane. The group spends time maintaining and caring for Kurumi, while also engaging in idle conversation.
