Portus

A 17-year-old high school student named Asami Kawakami is concerned when her friend Chiharu stops responding to her and stops attending school, instead becoming obsessed with a video game called Portus. A local legend claims the game has a secret level where a boy appears and offers to take the player to the "other side," resulting in death if accepted. After Chiharu commits suicide by cutting her throat, Asami and Keigo Sawa, an art club teacher, investigate the legend to uncover the truth behind Chiharu's death.
