A prince of the Kingdom of Zain, Raidor Zain is selected to wield the Holy Sword, altering his future. After being banished from the capital by his envious elder brother, Granard Zain, he grows up in a distant and difficult frontier region. There, he experiences a brief period of calm and contentment. However, he becomes entangled in a conflict with the nearby Arslein Empire. Facing his brother's schemes and the war surrounding the holy sword, Raidor chooses to resist.
