Saihate no Polaris

The narrator feels pain from their mother's affection, despite her claims it is for their benefit. One night, they discover a light and meet Takaoka-kun, who has red-dyed hair. The narrator wonders if they can grow stronger alongside him and hopes to become someone new during their high school years.
