A group known as Chachaoong, also referred to as Shamans, possess the ability to bring to life images they imagine, though they appear and act like normal people. Their origins are unknown. The current leader must select a successor and has chosen Yu Jin, a human. Many Chachaoong resist being ruled by a human, and Yu Jin, unaware of the situation, is now being pursued and targeted for death by those who oppose the decision.
