While living as a drifter, he engaged in a sparring match with an enigmatic individual who revealed herself to be the princess of the kingdom. Impressed by his combat abilities, she offers him a position as her personal companion, granting him access to a life of comfort. He now seeks to demonstrate his value in this new role.
