Trinity Blood

A series consists of two novel sets, with one occurring prior to the other. The novels were authored by Yoshida Sunao, later continued by Kentaro Yasui, and illustrated by THORES Shibamoto. A manga adaptation includes five volumes, while a 24-episode anime was produced by GONZO. Set in a post-apocalyptic future following a global catastrophe, the story involves an ongoing conflict between humans and vampires. Two major factions, the Vatican and the New Human Empire, are at odds, with a group of vampire extremists, the Rosenkreuz Orden, inciting conflict between them. A Vatican special unit, "AX," led by Cardinal Caterina, works to counter these extremists and promote peace, employing a Crusnik, a vampire who feeds on other vampires.
