Humanity survives in a world devastated by a viral outbreak that led to the rise of zomgans, hybrid beings part human and part zombie. These creatures enforce a brutal regime over the remaining humans. The Eradication Front, a group of resistance fighters including transcenders—humans with special abilities—opposes the zomgans' rule.
