FORCE OF NATURE

The duo consists of KZA and DJ Kent, two long time friends that share the same musical tastes and vision. KZA is a huge vinyl junkie who has acquired an enormous record collection over the years, enabling him to have a wide variety music at his fingertips. DJ Kent, on the other side, has been dj’ing in Japan for many years now and has developed his own unique sound and musical style that makes him one of the most stimulating and respected DJ’s in the Japanese dance music scene. The duo is also credited as part of the production team that scored the music for the anime series [Samurai Champloo](https://anilist.co/anime/205/). The show's director, [Shinichirou Watanabe](https://anilist.co/staff/97009/), approached the duo to help create the score of the show along with established hip-hop producers [Fat Jon](https://anilist.co/staff/116957/) of Five Deez, [Tsutchie](https://anilist.co/staff/117021/) of Shakkazombie, and [Nujabes](https://anilist.co/staff/102526/). According to Kent, the group developed their beats by looking at production art and stories from Watanabe for inspiration.
