Conan Edogawa came to Kanazawa with Ran Mouri and Kogoro Mouri. He meets a woman named Mari Hayashi, who carries a ransom there, and is involved in a kidnapping case. However, this kidnapping case was a self-made performance by former Yuzen writer Saigawa Manabu, who was thought to be the victim.
