While Dr. Crowler and Vice Principal Bonaparte get yelled at by Chancellor Sheppard, they take it the wrong way and believe that they got fired. This happens just as Pegasus shows up for a meeting with Chancellor Sheppard. Dr. Crowler and Vice Principal Bonaparte beg Pegasus to hire them and a duel ensues to determine whether or not they will get the job. They lose the duel and Chancellor Sheppard shows up to tell the two men that they weren't fired in the first place. It was just a misunderstanding. (Source: Wikipedia)
