A woman named Azalea lives on the colony-planet Dinahl and has no memory of her past until she hears a voice calling her name. Another voice instructs her to go to a rooftop park atop a skyscraper, where she meets others who also lack recollection of their previous lives. Each of them has arrived at the location as directed and possesses unique superhuman abilities. These include Eno's psychic abilities, Umoth's x-ray vision, Neia's teleportation, Azalea's telepathy, and Locke's control over electricity. The reason for their gathering and the identity of the one who summoned them remain unknown.
