Nine individuals are deceived and coerced by a criminal group known as The Neo-Black Ghosts into being transformed into cyborgs. Rather than serving as weapons for the organization, they resist and, with the help of Dr. Gilmore, manage to flee. Banding together, they form a team to oppose The Neo-Black Ghosts and combat injustice whenever it arises.
