Doraemon: Nobita no Parallel Saiyuuki

Nobita attempts to confirm the existence of the Monkey King by traveling to the time of Sanzo's pilgrimage. Doraemon provides a virtual game console that lets Nobita and his friends play "Journey to the West," equipping them with the Monkey King's attire. Their efforts to prove the Monkey King's existence fail. After completing the game without encountering any demons, they discover that their world is now under demonic rule. It turns out that Doraemon left the game console unsecured in the past, allowing demons to emerge and invade. To fix this, Doraemon and the group must return to the past to eliminate the demons.
