Dragonaut: The Resonance

An asteroid that was initially on a collision course with Earth instead destroyed Pluto and became known as Thanatos. The International Solarsystem Development Agency initiates the "D-Project" to prevent Earth's destruction, creating the Dragonaut after discovering a dragon egg beneath the ocean. The Dragonaut is designed to destroy the asteroid, but other dangerous, dragon-like beings also emerge on Earth. Jin Kamishina, an 18-year-old boy who lost his family in a shuttle accident, becomes involved after witnessing a killing by one of these creatures. He is saved from death by a mysterious girl named Toa and becomes the Dragonaut's pilot. As they explore the origins of the dragons, they meet new allies and adversaries, and their relationship grows stronger.
