A high school student named Jirou Yakuin wants to pair up with his classmate Shiori Sakurazaka for a required "Couple Practical" course. The assignment involves students demonstrating the skills needed to live with a partner of the opposite sex, with their interactions evaluated by video surveillance. Instead, Jirou is randomly paired with Akari Watanabe, who is very different from him and had hoped to be with her crush, Minami Tenjin. Their disappointment grows when they learn that Shiori and Minami are paired together.
