Gunslinger Stratos: THE ANIMATION

In the year 2115, the former island nation of Japan is now referred to as the 17th Far East Imperial City Management District. Citizens accepted reduced comforts in return for a stable and peaceful life, unaware of the coming crisis. A mysterious illness known as "Degradation" is spreading globally, causing the human body to disintegrate into sand. Tohru Kazasumi, a regular student, becomes involved in a conflict between his world and a parallel one called Frontier S (Stratos). He is forced to confront a version of himself from this alternate reality. As their fates intertwine, the question remains whether peace can be achieved between the two worlds.
