A young man named Lasset, who resides on a farm in the northern United States, embarks on a dangerous journey through the wild to reach a refuge 300 miles away. His goal is to save the life of a gray wolf he raised from a young age. After an event in which the wolf kills the family dog, Lasset must travel to the sanctuary to ensure the wolf's survival.
