Ima, Futari no Michi

A short anime highlights the experiences of two 16-year-old high school students affected by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. Jun Agatsuma is concerned about the future, as her father is a doctor. Kunpei Satou is expected to follow in his father's footsteps as a fisherman. Their lives are upended by the disaster, and they navigate the challenges of rebuilding in Miyagi Prefecture. The project aims to honor those who supported the region's recovery and preserve the memories of the event. Voice actors with ties to Miyagi Prefecture were selected for the production.
