Mononoke: Karakasa

Two young women, Asa and Kame, begin their first day working at the Ooku, a grand pleasure palace serving Lord Tenshi, where only female maidservants are allowed. The Ooku enforces strict rules, including the death penalty for any man who enters. While the palace offers a luxurious and highly structured environment, tensions and hidden conflicts soon emerge. At the same time, a mysterious outsider known as the Medicine Seller enters the Ooku, and an unusual and unsettling threat begins to surface.
