A supernatural being known as an ayakashi and humans live together in balance. Ayakashi, who possess great powers and striking beauty, occasionally choose human women as their brides, offering them unwavering love and prosperity in return. Yuzu is constantly overshadowed by her sister, who is married to a demon fox, and suffers daily mistreatment from her family. One day, overwhelmed by her struggles, she encounters a man on a bridge. He is the most handsome person she has ever seen and claims her as his bride. This man is a powerful ayakashi known for his cold nature, yet he expresses deep emotion toward Yuzu.
