Patapata Hikousen no Bouken

Jane's mother passes away at her birth, and her father, a wealthy English aristocrat, remarries a woman with a son named William, who resents his new father and stepbrother. Jane and George, her brother, share a dream of building a flying machine. George is convinced that a rare cerulean sand found in distant Asian lands has the power to enable flight. He embarks on an expedition to locate it but is later declared executed for treason. William also vanishes. Jane receives an unsigned letter containing a small amount of pale-blue sand that hovers in the air, leading her to believe George is still alive. She travels east to find him and clear his name. Along the way, she and her new companions encounter various mysteries. Some of these may be better left unsolved.
