Shashinkan

A photo studio is located on a hill before WWII, attracting many visitors for portraits. One day, a couple arrives, with the wife too shy to look up. The studio owner uses various methods to make her smile, eventually succeeding. A year later, the couple returns with their daughter, who appears unhappy. The owner again attempts to cheer her, beginning a lasting connection between them. Over time, their interactions continue through the years and into decades.
