Shin Seiki Evangelion

In 2015, massive alien war machines known as Angels return to Tokyo. Humanity's defense relies on the Evangelion, a humanoid combat unit created by NERV, a specialized UN agency. The Evangelion can endure the Angels' attacks, but only a small group of teenagers, born fourteen years after the first Angel appearance, can pilot them. Shinji Ikari is one of these teenagers. His father leads the NERV team responsible for the Evangelion. Placed in a confusing series of battles and circumstances, Shinji must draw on his inner strength to fight and survive, facing challenges he barely comprehends.
