Yoshika Miyafuji, who lost her witch abilities during a previous mission, is training to become a doctor in 1945. A message arrives from Shizuka Hattori, a fellow naval cadet, informing Yoshika she is to be sent overseas to Europe for study. As their adversaries return with increased strength, the Strike Witches prepare to regroup. However, Yoshika's absence raises questions about the team's ability to function without her.
