Ta ga Tame no Alchemist

A movie adaptation of a role-playing game features seven characters inspired by the seven deadly sins, set in the continent of Babel dominated by the Tower of Babel. The story takes place after alchemy, once a weapon of war that nearly destroyed humanity, was banned for centuries. In the 911th year of the continent, the nation of Lustrice defies the ban by using alchemy to build a military force and seeks to conquer the region. A coalition of six nations, led by Envylia, defeats Lustrice and suppresses alchemy again. However, two decades later, alchemy starts to disrupt the peace once more.
