Thunderbolt Fantasy: Touriken Yuuki

In an Eastern-inspired fantasy world, a brother and sister, who are sacred guardians, are attacked by the Xuan Gui Zong, followers of Miè Tian Hai, who wants the Tian Xing Jiàn sword in their possession. The brother is defeated when Hai appears, and the sister, Dan Fei, escapes by jumping off a cliff. Later, a wandering swordsman discovers a ruined temple where a statue of Buddha is shielded from rain by an umbrella. After taking the umbrella, he is told by a man nearby that he must show compassion to the next traveler he meets. That traveler is Dan Fei, still being hunted by the Xuan Gui Zong. Due to his promise and the enemies' magic, the swordsman is drawn into the conflict.
