A student named Yumehara Nozomi discovers a magical book known as the Dream Collet in a library and encounters Coco and Nuts, beings from the Palmier Kingdom. They ask her to rebuild their world, which was ruined by the Nightmares, by completing the Dream Collet and collecting 55 Pinkies to grant any wish. At the same time, the Nightmares are encroaching on the real world. After agreeing to assist, Coco and Nuts transform Nozomi into Cure Dream and convert four classmates into her Pretty Cure team.
