Rune Balot

Rune Balot is a young and troubled prostitute who becomes a pawn to a notorious gambler named Shell Septinos, who then tries to kill her. She is retrieved and changed into a cyborg by Dr. Easter under regulation Mardock Scramble 09. Dr. Easter trains her and gives her the A.I. construct Œufcoque in order to help him take down Septinos.
