Battle Royale

A group of students from Shiroiwa Junior High School is taken on what appears to be a school trip but is actually part of a government program. After being gassed on a bus, they awaken on Okishima Island, an abandoned location where they are told they must participate in a deadly game. Each year, 42 students are selected and forced to fight each other until only one remains. They wear collars that track their movements and explode if they try to leave the island or enter restricted areas. If no deaths occur within 24 hours, all collars detonate, killing everyone.
