Akira Takashiro is a high school student in Tachikawa, Tokyo, who spends his time playing basketball. One afternoon, an unexpected earthquake hits the city, causing destruction at his school. Amid the wreckage, Akira sees a large pile of corpses and a mysterious creature feeding on them. What follows is a story of horror and surprise as this unknown entity unleashes chaos.
