Hyouka

Oreki Houtarou avoids unnecessary effort, doing only what is required. After starting high school, he receives a letter from his sister urging him to join the Classics Club, which was important to her but now has no members. Houtarou agrees reluctantly and discovers another member, Chitanda Eru, a curious girl with large eyes. Eru becomes interested in a mystery, drawing in Houtarou's friend, Fukube Satoshi. They solve everyday mysteries together, eventually involving another friend, Ibara Mayaka, who has long had a crush on Satoshi. The group investigates a mystery tied to the history of the Classics Club.
