A high school pop-music club is on the verge of being disbanded due to low membership, prompting four girls to join in order to meet the required numbers. One of them, Yui Hirasawa, is assigned as the lead guitarist despite having no prior experience with musical instruments. While she enjoys the concept of being part of a band, the reality of playing an instrument proves more challenging than simply posing with it. The group faces difficulties in learning to play together, but their enthusiasm and strong will give them a fighting chance to succeed.
